Free Twinkie Felt Sewing Pattern


They’re back… and we’re celebrating that creme-filled snack cake with a few new goodies. Today’s project is a felt embroidery craft, so you’ll need some felt, embroidery floss and fluff to stuff. You can make these little guys into keychains or gift tags, magnets or even ornaments. Feel free to enlarge the pattern and make a plush or pillow!

Finished Size:
Approximately 3½ inches (7.5cm) wide.

Felt & Embroidery Floss:

Size 9 x 12 inch felt sheets and 6-strand embroidery floss.

  • Gold
  • Black
  • White (Embroidery floss only).

Other Supplies: 

  • Embroidery needle.
  • Scissors.
  • Stuffing.

Cut pieces only as needed. Separate and use one (1) strand of matching embroidery floss to attach pieces unless otherwise specified.
1. Cut two (2) Body, GOLD.
2a. Cut two (2) Eyes, BLACK.
2b. Appliqué Eyes to Body (Front).
2c. Using two (2) strands of WHITE floss, make a french knot and straight stitch for each eye.
2d. Using two (2) strands of BLACK floss, straight stitch mouth.
3. Cut one (1) Bottom from GOLD felt.
4a. Cut three (3) Creme from White.
4b. Appliqué each Creme to Body (Back).
4c. Appliqué Bottom to Body (Back).
5. Whipstitch and appliqué Body (Front) to Body (Back), stuffing as you stitch.
